These works express the "wishes and prayers" peculiar to Japanese people contained in Japanese traditional ritual as a performing art, and is a work to pray for world peace and epidemics.

Orizuru
The Orizuru (folded paper crane) has become known as "the symbol of peace" worldwide through numerous masterpieces. In this performance, we aim to express the importance of world peace. The performer offers prayers for peace by folding paper cranes, and her costume will change from white to red as the ritual progresses.
Tachiharai
This work "Tachiharai" expresses the "wishes and prayers" peculiar to Japanese people contained in the "Shihoharai" (ground-breaking ceremony) as a performing art, and is a work to pray for the long, safe, healthy, and happy lives of the people living in the area.
ORIENTARHYTHM is a Japanese artist unit. Their most notable contribution is the development of an original performing art style called "Geibu," which expresses the unique "movement," "rhythms," and "spiritual essence" of Japanese Traditional Culture as performing arts.
This innovative approach has captivated audiences across 42 countries. Particularly noteworthy is their participation in prestigious global events such as the Rugby World Cup 2019. In 2022, "The Life of HOKUSAI," composed, directed, choreographed, and starred in by Katsumi Sakakura, was honored with the "Cool Japan Matching Award" from the Cabinet Office.
Through their performances, ORIENTARHYTHM hope that Japanese culture will contribute to world peace.
