PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS! JOIN AND WIN GREAT PRIZES!
Monday, 20. dec 2021
The prizes include bicycles from Sportland, a Canon camera, an iPhone, cash and dozens of other exciting prizes.
School students at all levels are invited to join a new photography competition.
How to take part
Snap some great photographs showing the daily life of you and your family during the winter holidays. What are the chores that you and the others need to do? Who cooks and who cleans? Maybe you need to help your grandma or grandpa? Or maybe a younger sibling? How do you relax? Do you do sports together or just have fun? Do you watch movies or play exciting games together? Do you spend time with your dog or cat? Do you feed rabbits and chickens or perhaps a goldfish? Or are you helping your family with something else? In short, take pictures of your daily life and your family’s, be it responsibilities or moments of rest, and choose the best shots to enter in the competition.
When and where do I send the photographs?
You can submit up to five good-quality photographs, which you need to upload to the Estonian National Museum’s website at pildiait.erm.ee by 14 January 2022. On the same website, you will also find the competition rules and instructions for taking a good photograph, as well as practical tips on how to edit photographs online.
Where do I find inspiration?
Great ideas for photographs are everywhere around your home or in the company of your loved ones – all you need to do is capture them in your phone or camera. You can also find useful inspiration by watching the film “Life Is Work Is Life”, which shows the story of one Estonian family – which, of course, may be completely different from your own experience. You can watch the film free of charge on ETV’s Jupiter, Elisa HUUB, Telia TV or Netikino.
How and when will the winners be selected and announced?
The photographs will be judged by an expert jury of professional photographers and others involved in photography. The list of judges is available at pildiait.erm.ee. The winners will be announced on 20 January 2022 at 15.15 during a ceremony held at the Tallinn Cruise Ship Terminal or online if Covid restrictions apply.
