Already over a decade, people of all ages have gathered to the Raadi Manor Park on June 23 to celebrate both Victory Day as well as St. John’s Day. Both of these holidays are of great importance to the Estonians.
Once again, the Estonian National Museum and the Society of Friends of the ENM invite people from Tartu and afar to enjoy good music, cheerful company and the glow of the Midsummer Eve’s bonfire at the historical site of Raadi manor and by the picturesque Lake Raadi.
Programme:
5 p.m. – family day: guided tours in the Manor Park, orienteering and traffic code games, outdoor chess and checkers. Kids can drive electric cars, jump on trampolines, roll in zorb-balls, take part in handicraft workshops and choose a thematic face painting. Littlest family members may have fun at a special playground.
8 p.m. – band Kruuv starts with a joyful concert
9 p.m. – lighting of the St. John’s Eve bonfire
